It’s hard to believe that we are now into the fifth decade of the 21st century. The world has changed in so many ways and the pace of change is only accelerating.

In the past, it was common for people to have one job, live in one place and spend their lives in that environment. Now, there are more people living in cities than ever before and they are all moving around the globe.

The reason for this is that we are living longer and there are more things we want to do as we get older. We want to travel, see new places, meet new people and enjoy the experiences of life.

But what about our health? How can we maintain good health and prevent disease as we age?

The first thing we need to do is make sure that we eat healthy foods. We know that we should eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, but how much do we actually eat? If you are like most people, you may not be eating nearly enough of these healthy foods.

You also need to get enough exercise. You probably know that exercise is important for your heart, your muscles and your joints, but did you know that exercise is also very important for your brain?

Your brain needs exercise just like any other part of your body. It is not possible to sit still all day long and expect your brain to function properly.

There are many different kinds of exercises you can do. One of the easiest is walking. Just take a few minutes every day and walk somewhere. You can go to the park or take a walk around your neighborhood.

If you don’t feel like walking, you can always try some simple stretching exercises. You can even stretch while you are watching TV.

Stretching is an excellent way to improve flexibility and strengthen your muscles. Stretching also improves circulation which helps your heart and your brain.

These are just a few of the daily fitness tips you need to keep in mind. There are many more that you can learn by reading books, taking classes or talking to your doctor.

By following a few simple guidelines, you can help to ensure that you are as healthy as possible as you age.
